Summer jog
Summer had finally arrived, and Sarah was eager to shed her winter layers and enjoy the warm weather. She laced up her running shoes and headed out the door for a jog through the neighborhood. The sun was already high in the sky, casting a golden glow over the streets and houses.
As she ran, Sarah felt the sweat dripping down her face and the wind ruffling her hair. She loved the feeling of freedom that came with running in the summer. She could let go of all her worries and simply focus on the rhythm of her feet hitting the pavement.
After a few miles, Sarah decided to take a detour and head to the local pool. She had been promising herself all week that she would go for a swim, and now was the perfect time. The pool was surrounded by tall trees and a breeze rustled the leaves as she approached.
Sarah changed into her swimsuit and dove into the cool water. She swam laps, feeling the resistance of the water against her body. She let out a contented sigh as she floated on her back, letting the sun warm her face.
As she swam, Sarah felt a sense of peace wash over her. The summer sun, the cool water, and the sound of children laughing in the distance all combined to create a sense of tranquility that she had been craving for weeks.
After her swim, Sarah lay on a lounge chair and soaked up the sun. She closed her eyes and let the warmth seep into her skin, feeling her worries melt away. She knew that this was exactly what she needed to start her summer off right.
